What's solar power?
Solar power (also known as solar energy) is Solar Radiation emitted from our sun. Solar energy can currently used in a number of applications, such as electricity generation, lighting, transportation and so on…
How does it work?
It converts energy from light into electric power, stores it until needed, and then provides the power to the application. It uses a photodiode semiconductor chip to generate electric power from sunlight, or from incandescent light bulbs. When the light shines on the chip, the chip provides immediate voltage and electric current. The chip also controls the power provided to a battery for later use at a later time by the application.
